AN EFFORT TO MAXIMIZE EARLY SEASON NATURAL SNOW
The unmistakable signs of the approaching winter season are here. If you’ve been seeing frost on the ground and having thoughts of snowflakes—your mind has likely turned to the deep, satisfying feeling of real skiing. We’re gearing up to welcome you back for another fantastic season on the ABR ski trails, and this year, we’re thrilled to announce our biggest improvement yet: the brand new Early Snow Loop.

FEELING THE WARMTH OF THE ABR COMMUNITY
The morning of Thursday, August 21st, was a special day at ABR Trails, as volunteers gathered for a successful Work Bee. The parking lot filled with participants, including Matthew, the new Operations Manager, for his first Work Bee. With 19 volunteers, the group split and stacked firewood, an act that “warms you twice” – once from the effort and again when burned. For the ABR Trails community, the wood also warms their hearts, providing a sense of community and warmth in the rustic cabins and ski lodge.

Summer Solstice Bird Walks
Our recent birding event was a hit! We enjoyed coffee & blueberry muffins, heard barred owls sing for almost 10 minutes during our night hike, and even spotted a ruffed grouse with her young. What a solstice!
