I am so impressed with the groomers and volunteers progress after the epic storm 6 days ago! Both Pisten Bullies were out this morning power tilling and tracksetting 43 km of trails including Tamarack 2 track to the crossover and back. Snowmobile packers and brush clearing crew supplemented by multiple volunteer crews cleared and packed Hemlock entrance to Jack Pine and a portion of White Pine. All combi (skate and classic) trails are groomed except, Historic and Peltonen.
Tomorrow we plan to finish brushing, packing White Pine and hopefully the Hemlock exit. We will then start grooming the famous, Hemlock, Jack Pine , White Pine Loop…classic only. Thursday we plan to trackset this loop so we will have about 55 km open and groomed Thursday.
