What an exciting start to the ski season — Red skies in the morning…brought snow Sunday. Trails packed Sunday and then again today. Pig Heart, Snow Cross, and Crasher roller groomed 8 km of trails including most of the new Early Snow Loop (ESL) and a piece of River and Memory and Blueberry return. The ESL loop groomed up extremely well with one small wet spot on Blueberry. The River Trail from the ponds to Popple groomed up well as with the new surface. The snowmobile skis did not bring up any rocks or gravel. We do have early season skiing, I always suggest rock skis until you ski the 8 km loop and decide. Matthew, the new Foundation Operations manager, has decided to open Tuesday for skiing! pig heart

Opening Details for Tomorrow:

We will be opening tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th with limited trails and facilities. Trail passes will be available with cash, credit card, or online. Onsite passes will be sold from the ticket shack in the driveway. Ski hours are from 9-4:00 pm.

Limited facilities: bathrooms and water available in the wax barn, ski shop will be closed. No rentals available. Skiing only, no snowshoeing.

We will update later today on trail conditions. It is likely that due to the warming temperatures we will only be open tomorrow and then close Wednesday to wait for more snow and freezing temps.

Yoga The Ultimate Cross-Training for Nordic Skiing

Yoga is, fundamentally, a practice of mindfulness, which translates directly to a superior experience on the snow.
