Ski Team Tug of War with at 11:00
The focus on each hike will be to A twist on an old classic! Grab your friends and family for a tug of war on skis! Teams of up to 6 people can sign up for this event at the front desk of the chalet. This event will take place in the practice field. Your B skis or rock skis are recommended for this activity.

Estonian Wife Carry Competition in the field at 11:30AM
Wife carrying (Finnish: eukonkanto or akankanto) is a contest in which competitors race while each carrying a partner. Whilst most teams consist of a man carrying a woman there are generally no rules about gender or marital status. The objective is for the runner to carry their team-mate through a special obstacle track in the fastest time. The sport was first introduced in 1992 in Sonkajärvi, Finland. For our rendition, the husband skis to the end of field (approximately 100 yards). The wife then removes skis and is carried back on foot to Finnish line. First place winner wins day ski passes based on wife’s weight, as measured in “stones.”

Number of stones of wife’s weight = number of day passes (1 stone= 14 pounds)

Kids’ Games in the practice field at 1:00PM
Extra classic tracks have been added in the practice field for some extra ski relay fun. Bring your family out for relay races and shenanigans hosted by Will Andresen!

Pie in the Face
Multiple ABR Trails Foundation staff and board members have put their fate in your hands! We will have multiple buckets for donations throughout the day, and each of these buckets will be attached to a name. At the end of the day, the bucket with the most money raised will result in that staff member or board member receiving a pie to the face!
