The Erwin Township Historical Society
ABR lies within Erwin Township, an area with a rich history. Many of the area’s families have been in the township for generations.
The mission of the Erwin Township Historical Society is to “Preserve the Past and Create the Future”.
The Historical Society artifact museum is an excellent example of preserving the past and it rests in Erwin Heritage Park at 8970 Van Buskirk Road in Erwin. It’s open to the public on Saturdays 1-4pm. You can ski right to the front door via the ABR Historic trail.
To Create the Future, the Historical Society has added a new Pickleball Court open to everyone. Walk or ski the historic trail in the park to read Erwin’s History on permanent storyboards.
