ABR Transitions
Eric Anderson and Angela Santini, owners of ABR, have made the final land donation decisions and have established the time periods and phases of donations. Eric and Angela will donate the trailhead land and buildings and approximately 250 additional acres of land at the end of this ski season. Other land will be available for the Foundation ski trails and will be donated later.
PistenBully
The Foundation Board has reviewed the PistenBully capital equipment need and is considering all options for equipment needs. Eric and Angela are donating the newest PistenBully to the Foundation on April 1, 2025, more news will be released on this soon.
Land & Buildings
The transition of buildings and land has been determined to both maximize the skier experience and to minimize challenges for Eric and Angela. There are seven buildings that they are donating to the Foundation, including the farmhouse where Angela and Eric are currently living.
The couple are moving at the end of the upcoming ski season from the farmhouse, where Eric grew up, to the Hilltop House that he and his Dad, Dave, built. In the future, the farmhouse will be utilized by the Foundation.
All the buildings are undergoing walkthroughs to evaluate the infrastructure so that the Foundation team understands the operations “behind the curtain” and to evaluate future maintenance needs. These buildings include the wax barn and the newly renovated PistenBully barn, changing room, chalet, horse barn, Finnish sauna, and several smaller outbuildings and sheds.
